The Department of Construction and Projects supervises the casting of the roof of the ground floor of the presidential annex building

Under the direct supervision of Dr. Oday Hammoudi Abdullah, Head of the Construction and Projects Department, and with the participation of several department engineers, significant progress has been made in constructing the Presidential Annex building. Key completed tasks include:

  • Ground Floor Ceiling Preparation: The ceiling formwork for the ground floor was meticulously prepared in full compliance with approved engineering standards. Reinforcement for the ceiling was completed and verified to meet all technical specifications and required standards.
  • Concrete Casting Execution: The ceiling casting process was successfully carried out, adhering to all technical requirements regarding concrete quality and mixing ratios. Advanced equipment ensured a smooth and precise casting process, with strict adherence to safety protocols on-site.
  • Post-Casting Procedures: The ceiling is currently being monitored to ensure proper curing of the concrete. Regular water curing is being conducted to enhance its durability and strength, ensuring the highest levels of stability.

This achievement is part of a comprehensive plan supervised by the Construction and Projects Department to ensure that the Presidential Annex project is completed to the highest quality standards and within the designated timeframe. The project aims to bolster the university’s infrastructure, providing a modern and advanced work environment that meets the demands of both academic and administrative operations.
