Pouring concrete for the first-floor ceiling of the Presidential Annex building

As part of the University of Technology’s ongoing efforts to develop its infrastructure and provide a modern educational and administrative environment, the concrete pouring of the first-floor ceiling for the Presidential Annex Building was completed on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, under the direct supervision of: 

  • Dr. Mohsin Nouri Hamzah, President of the University
  • Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman, Vice President for Administrative Affairs
  • Oday Hammoudi Abdullah, Director of the Construction and Projects Department
  • A group of engineers from the Construction and Projects Department

Work Details: 

  • Preparation and Planning: Before the concrete pouring, the engineering team conducted thorough inspections of the materials used, ensuring compliance with the approved technical and engineering standards to achieve the highest quality.
  • Engineering Supervision: Engineers from the Construction and Projects Department closely monitored every phase of execution according to the architectural blueprints, verifying concrete mix ratios to meet durability and sustainability requirements.
  • Safety Measures: The highest safety standards were applied at the site, with the work area fully secured to ensure the safety of engineers, workers, and all personnel involved.
  • Concrete Pouring Execution: The technical team directly supervised the pouring process to ensure precise results in line with the designated timelines.
